The series describes these races as local, low-pressure events oriented toward runners and walkers. Race operations typically include a clear course, race staff, finisher medals, and posted results. Because many US Road Running events are small, staffing is limited; EMS is not stationed on site and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Participants should plan accordingly for race-day conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
