Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run
The Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run takes place on November 26, 2026 in Kansas City, Missouri. The event is centered at 8600 Ward Parkway, with the start area at 86th Terrace and Ward Parkway on the east side of the Ward Parkway Center. Parking is directed via State Line Road while Ward Parkway is closed for the race.

All participants receive a long-sleeve thermal shirt, a 6-inch Tippin’s pie as the finisher token, and free race photos. Participants may purchase a traditional metal finisher medal when registering. Pumpkin, apple, and cherry pies can be picked up with race packets starting the days before the event; cherry and apple pies are limited and available first come, first serve.
Packet pickup is handled at Fleet Feet inside the Ward Parkway Center in the days before the race, with limited race-morning pickup available. Families or groups of four or more receive a group discount. Strollers are allowed on the course.
Awards include Thanksgiving-themed medals for the top three male and female finishers overall and top three finishers in age groups from 9 & under through 80+.
