US Road Running describes these events as local, low-pressure races for runners and walkers. Organizers provide a clear course, race staff, finisher medals, and posted results. Races are typically small and have a relaxed, community atmosphere.
A race-day note from the organizer states that many US Road Running events have minimal on-site staff. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Registration for these race options opened July 13, 2022 and closes July 24, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
