Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Lake Mayer Park features a series of races held on an out-and-back course in Savannah, Georgia. Participants can choose between three different distances on the day of the event. All participants are required to register in advance through the online platform, as there is no registration available at the park on the day of the race.
Course Information
The event utilizes an out-and-back course layout. Depending on the selected distance, runners complete a specific number of laps to reach their total mileage. The course has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
- 5K: This distance follows the out-and-back course twice.
- 10K: This distance follows the out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: This distance follows the out-and-back course six times.
Race Day Logistics
Registered runners can collect their packets beginning 30 minutes before the event starts. Pickup concludes 10 minutes prior to the start. Parking is available near the starting line at Lake Mayer Park.
Awards and Recognition
All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race. In addition to the athletic events, there is a recognition for the best costume, and participants can earn points toward a series standing.
