The race starts at Mallard Creek Playground across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. The course layout includes out and back segments. The 5K and 10K use a 1.56 mile out and back segment (3.11 miles round trip); the 5K completes that segment once and the 10K twice. The Half Marathon uses a 1.64 mile out and back segment (3.275 miles round trip) and repeats that segment four times. The course has a hill at the start and finish.
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The event lists a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The organizer provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop option, a best costume element, series points, and awards.
