South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile
The 13th annual South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile takes place on September 12, 2026 at Wooden Robot Brewery on South Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 5K starts on W Summit Ave in front of Wooden Robot Brewery and runs through Charlotte's South End and Wilmore neighborhoods. A 1 Mile Run is offered as a shorter distance.
- 5K course starting on W Summit Ave and running through South End and Wilmore.
- 1 Mile run, shirt available as an upgrade.
Registration includes a finisher medal and beer for participants aged 21 and over, or ice cream for participants under 21. Shirts are included with 5K registration and may be added for the 1 Mile.
Proceeds support local nonprofit work. The primary beneficiary is The Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma. The Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship and West Blvd Ministry are also listed beneficiaries.
Presenting sponsors include Skufca Law, Wooden Robot Brewery, and Beacon Partners. The event lists a DJ partner and a media partner.
