South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile, Charlotte NC
The 13th annual South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 12, 2026. The event is presented by Skufca Law, Wooden Robot Brewery, and Beacon Partners and is based at Wooden Robot Brewery on South Tryon Street. The 5K course begins on W Summit Ave and goes through Charlotte's South End and Wilmore neighborhoods.
Distances
- 5K road run starting on W Summit Ave, through South End and Wilmore neighborhoods.
- 1 Mile run; shirts included for 5K, available as upgrade for 1 Mile.
Registration includes a finisher medal and a beer for participants 21 and older or ice cream for those under 21. Shirts are included with the 5K and may be added for the 1 Mile as an upgrade.
The event supports local nonprofit efforts. Primary beneficiaries listed include The Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma, the Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship, and West Blvd Ministry. Proceeds are used to raise awareness, support patients and caregivers, fund research, and serve families and communities in the West Blvd corridor.
Registration policies note there are no refunds. Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
