South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile
The South End Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile is scheduled for September 12, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event is based at Wooden Robot Brewery on South Tryon Street; the 5K course begins on W Summit Ave in front of the brewery and proceeds through Charlotte’s South End and Wilmore neighborhoods.

Registration for the event includes a finisher medal and a choice of beer for participants 21 and older or ice cream for those under 21. Event registration also includes a shirt for the 5K; a shirt is available as an upgrade for the 1 Mile.
The event is presented by Skufca Law, Wooden Robot Brewery, and Beacon Partners. Proceeds support local nonprofit organizations, with the primary beneficiary listed as The Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma. Additional beneficiaries include the Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship, established in 2025, and West Blvd Ministry.
Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. Registration fees are nonrefundable and are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God. The event materials note a history of directing proceeds to Charlotte-area charities.
