South End Shuffle 5k and 1 Mile
The South End Shuffle is the 13th annual running event held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Wooden Robot Brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event offers two official distances and a short community course that begins on W Summit Ave in front of Wooden Robot Brewery and passes through Charlotte's South End and Wilmore neighborhoods.

Registration benefits and event amenities include a finisher medal and a post-race beer for participants aged 21 and over or ice cream for those under 21. A race shirt is included with the 5K and is available as an upgrade for the 1 Mile. The event is presented by Skufca Law, Wooden Robot Brewery, and Beacon Partners.
Proceeds support local nonprofit work. The primary beneficiary is the Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma; the event also added a memorial scholarship as a beneficiary in 2025 and supports West Blvd Ministry. Registration policies state that fees are nonrefundable, management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
