US Road Running - Huntersville
The US Road Running event in Charlotte, North Carolina, takes place at the Mallard Creek Playground, situated across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. This event offers several distance options on an out-and-back course that includes a hill at the start and finish lines. All participants are required to register through RunSignup before the event, as on-site registration is not available.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: This distance follows the out-and-back course one time.
- 10K: This distance follows the out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon: This distance follows the out-and-back course four times.
The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race, beginning 30 minutes prior to the start and concluding 10 minutes before the first runners depart. All finishers receive a medal, and the event features a best costume competition. Points earned during these races contribute to the US Road Running series.
