Gobbler 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon at Mallard Creek Playground
The event is held at Mallard Creek Playground, located across from Mallard Creek Elementary School in Charlotte, NC. Distances offered are a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon (13.1 miles). Registration opened on Dec 22, 2021 and remains open through race day. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Packet pickup is available shortly before the race, opening 30 minutes before the race and closing 10 minutes before the race start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course formats are based on repeated out and back segments. The 5K uses an out and back segment repeated two times. The 10K uses that same out and back segment repeated four times. The half marathon uses a longer out and back segment repeated six times. Specific loop distances are provided by the organizer.
