Gobbler 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon : Charlotte, NC
This road race weekend takes place at Mallard Creek Playground, across from Mallard Creek Elementary School, 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC. The event offers three measured road race distances on out-and-back loops and uses a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Distances:
- 5K: uses a 0.78 mile out-and-back repeated twice.
- 10K: uses the 0.78 mile out-and-back repeated four times.
- Half Marathon: uses a 1.09 mile out-and-back repeated six times.
The 0.78 mile out-and-back measures 1.56 miles round trip. The 1.09 mile out-and-back measures 2.18 miles round trip. All races use repeated laps of these measured out-and-back segments to reach the advertised distances.
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the half marathon. Packet pickup is provided prior to the race.
