Haunted 5K, 10K, 13.1M and 26.2M at Charlotte, NC
This event offers four road race distances at Mallard Creek Playground, located at 9729 Mallard Creek Rd in Charlotte, NC, across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. Races are set on out and back loop courses that reuse short segments to reach each distance. The course begins and finishes on a section that includes a hill.

The 5K and 10K use an out and back loop that measures 1.56 miles one way, or 3.11 miles round. The 5K completes this loop once and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon and marathon use a separate out and back loop that measures 1.64 miles one way, or 3.275 miles round; the half marathon covers that loop four times and the marathon covers it eight times. The overall course time limit is six hours.
All runners must register through RunSignup; there is no on site registration. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, $65 for the half marathon, and $90 for the marathon. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume component, series points, and awards as part of the event offerings.
