US Road Running - Huntersville

Haunted 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon

This athletic event takes place at the Mallard Creek Playground in Charlotte, North Carolina. Participants gather across from Mallard Creek Elementary School to compete on tracks within the Clark's Creek Greenway. The event features three distinct distance options organized by US Road Running.

All three race lengths utilize an out-and-back course design. Participants in the shorter distances complete the loop either once or twice, while those in the longest distance complete the course four times. The available distances are:

• 5K (one lap of the out-and-back course)
• 10K (two laps of the out-and-back course)
• Half Marathon (four laps of the out-and-back course)

The event has a maximum duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option to register at the venue. All participants who finish their respective races receive a finisher medal. To add to the seasonal theme, the event includes a competition for the best costume, although costumes are not required for participation.
