The event takes place at Mallard Creek Playground, located just across from Mallard Creek Elementary School at 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28267. It comprises multiple road race distances on measured out-and-back courses.

The 5K and 10K courses use an out-and-back segment described as 1.56 miles one way and 3.11 miles round trip; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon course uses an out-and-back segment described as 1.64 miles one way and 3.28 miles round trip; the half marathon completes that out-and-back four times. The event enforces a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
All participants must register through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration fees listed by event are $30.00 for the 5K, $45.00 for the 10K, and $65.00 for the half marathon.
