The Yiasou Greek Festival 5K presented by Novant Health takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Events offered are:

Registration prices listed are $35 for the 5K, $30 for the 5K (K-12), and $25 for the Kid's Mile. Prices increase after February 28, 2026. Registration for the Kid's Mile closes on the morning of the event.

Course, timing and results

All events start and finish along East Boulevard near the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and run through the Dilworth neighborhood. The course is described as flat. The race will be chip timed and results are available as each participant finishes; results can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the bib or at the finish area. The event has a one-hour time limit.

Logistics and policies

Packet pickup is available Friday, August 28 at three Run For Your Life locations (Midtown, Piper Glen, University) and on race morning at the solutions tent. There is no bag check. One water stop is provided at approximately the 1.5-mile mark and porta-potties will be at the start/finish area. Medical services at the start/finish are provided by Novant Health; on-course emergencies should be reported to a volunteer and 9-1-1 should be called. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Strollers and baby joggers are permitted but have no awards category. Participants are guaranteed a Recover Brands T-shirt and a finisher medal. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Awards are given to the top three males and females in each division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
