The Yiasou Greek Festival 5K presented by Novant Health takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Events start and finish at 600 East Boulevard near the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the Dilworth neighborhood.

Organizers describe the 5K course as flat and fast, winding through avenues in historic Dilworth. The event uses chip timing; individual results are based on the time each runner crosses the start and finish lines. Results are available as participants cross the finish area by scanning a QR code on their bibs.
Logistics include on-site packet pickup race morning starting at 6:30 AM and Friday packet pickup at three Run For Your Life locations (Midtown: 901 S. Kings Drive; Piper Glen: 6416 Rea Road; University: 1816 E. Arbors Drive) from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Additional notes: there is no bag check; one water stop is provided near the 1.5-mile mark; porta-potties will be at the start/finish area. Participants are guaranteed a Recover Brands event tee and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each division; age divisions range from 12 and under through 75+. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Dogs are not allowed on course; strollers and baby joggers are permitted but have no awards category. Medical services at start/finish are provided by Novant Health.
