US Road Running - Concord
This running event takes place at the Dogwood Shelter in Concord, North Carolina. The venue features practical amenities including restrooms located in the corner of the parking lot. Participants follow a shaded course primarily composed of paved surfaces with a specific section featuring gravel and dirt paths.
The event offers three distinct distance options on out-and-back routes:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the 1.56-mile out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of a 1.64-mile out-and-back course, totaling 13.1 miles.
All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the event location shortly before the start. Every finisher receives a medal upon completion of their race, and there is an optional costume competition for all registered runners.
