Event Details
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a running event at Homestead Air Reserve Park in Homestead, Florida. The available distances are a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.
Course Information
All events share the same start time. The course for all distances is paved and follows an out-and-back layout. Participants in the 5K run the course once, those in the 10K run it twice, and participants in the Half Marathon run it four times. Time limits apply: the 5K and 10K have a 2-hour limit, while the Half Marathon has a 3 hour and 30 minute limit.
Registration and Logistics
All runners must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available starting 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start. Bathrooms are available at the front of the parking lot.
Additional Information
Every finisher receives a themed medal. While not required, costumes are encouraged, and a group photo is taken at the start of each race, with an award given for the best costume.
