Event
The Luau running event in Homestead, Florida is scheduled for May 23, 2026 at Homestead Air Reserve Park, 27401 SW New York Ave, Homestead, FL 33032. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and timing
All courses are paved and follow out-and-back routes. The 5K completes the route once; the 10K completes it twice; the half marathon completes it four times. Time limits are set as follows: 5K and 10K - 2 hours; half marathon - 3 hours 30 minutes.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. Bathrooms are located at the front of the parking lot. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. A group photo is taken at the beginning of each race and a best costume award is given at that time. The race earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series.
