Medal Madness 5K, 10K, &13.1M Homestead, FL (26)
Medal Madness is held at Homestead Air Reserve Park in Homestead, FL 33032. The event includes three distances run on paved, out and back courses. Bathrooms are located at the front of the parking lot.
The courses are configured as follows:
- 5K one out and back loop.
- 10K two repeats of the out and back loop.
- Half Marathon four repeats of the out and back loop.
Time limits apply by distance: the 5K and 10K have a two hour limit, and the half marathon has a three hour and thirty minute limit.
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal.
Costumes are optional; a group photo is taken at the beginning of each race and a best costume award is given at that time. This event also awards points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
