Miami 50/50
Miami 50/50 is an open road ultramarathon held in Miami on June 13, 2026. It is a 50 mile, two-person team race in which both teammates run the full distance together at all times. The event is self-supported with no individual finishes.
The course runs through a variety of urban neighborhoods and scenic areas, including Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove and Brickell. Runners use pedestrian paths and sidewalks but will encounter vehicular traffic and must follow all pedestrian laws.
Teams compete in three divisions: Male Team, Female Team and Co-Ed Team. There is no crew access and no aid stations; only manned checkpoints are provided. Drop bags are allowed at each checkpoint. Runners navigate using directional cards that provide step-by-step directions; the course map is not available in full before the race. The first portion of the map is provided the morning of the event and subsequent portions are issued at checkpoints located roughly every 10 to 15 miles.
All pre-race activities and the finish area are located at Hero Martial Arts, 17049 S. Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The race is limited to 30 teams and has a 16 hour course time limit. A pre-race briefing is mandatory for runners who have not participated in the Miami Ultra Race Series before. Registration closes June 10, 2026.
