Miami 50/50
The Miami 50/50 is an open-road ultramarathon held in Miami, Florida, on June 13, 2026. The event is a two-person team race covering 50 miles; both teammates run the full distance together at all times. Teams compete in three divisions: Male Team, Female Team, and Co-Ed Team. The field is limited to 30 teams.
The course travels through urban neighborhoods including Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove, and Brickell. Runners use pedestrian paths and sidewalks but will encounter vehicular traffic and must follow pedestrian laws. The course route will be provided progressively: the first portion of the map is released the morning of the race and further directions are issued at manned checkpoints placed roughly every 10 to 15 miles.
This event is self-supported. There are no aid stations, only checkpoints where drop bags are allowed. Runners navigate between checkpoints using directional cards that include step-by-step directions; successful navigation is part of the event format. Pre-race check-in and packet pickup occur the day before the race, and a pre-race briefing will cover safety and the use of directional cards for runners new to the Miami Ultra Race Series. The race is organized by Running Ninja Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
