Miami 50/50
Miami 50/50 is an open road urban ultramarathon held in Miami, Florida on June 13, 2026. The event is a team format covering 50 miles where two runners remain together for the entire distance. Teams are self-supported with no crew or individual finishes; teams either finish together or record a joint DNF.
The course uses pedestrian paths and sidewalks through multiple Miami neighborhoods, including Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove, and Brickell. Runners will encounter vehicular traffic and must follow all pedestrian laws while navigating the city.
Navigation and support are managed through manned checkpoints roughly every 10 to 15 miles. There are no aid stations; only checkpoints where drop bags are allowed. Runners receive directional cards with step-by-step directions and the course map is not released in full before race day. The first portion of the map is provided on race morning and subsequent segments are issued at checkpoints as teams progress.
Pre-race check-in and packet pickup take place on Friday, June 12 between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. A pre-race briefing is scheduled that evening and is mandatory for runners new to the Miami Ultra Race Series. All pre- and post-race activities are centered at Hero Martial Arts, 17049 S.
