US Road Running - Deer Park
This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and takes place at the large pavilion in Deer Park, Texas. The event offers three distinct distances for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
The 5K and 10K races utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back course. Participants completing the 5K distance run the course two times, while those in the 10K category complete it four times. The Half Marathon utilizes a separate out-and-back course measuring 2.18 miles, which participants must complete six times to reach the full distance. All courses are subject to a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no on-site registration available. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue shortly before the start. Participants are eligible for finisher medals, and there is an optional costume contest. Scoring from the event contributes to the US Road Running series points standings.
