Event Details
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place at Dow Park in Deer Park, Texas. The event starts at the large pavilion. Registration must be completed online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration on the day. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the start.
Distances and Course
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K course is a 1.56-mile out-and-back section completed two times. The 10K uses a 1.56-mile out-and-back section completed four times. The half marathon uses a different 2.18-mile out-and-back section completed six times. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events.
Other Information
All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given, and a best costume contest is held. The event is part of a series where participants can earn points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
