Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on February 21, 2026, at Dow Park in Deer Park, Texas (610 E San Augustine St, Deer Park, TX 77536). The event includes three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The race begins at the large pavilion.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile out-and-back course segment. The 5K completes that segment two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile out-and-back segment and completes that segment six times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Packet pickup is provided before the race. The event offers finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, awards, and series points.
