Event overview

green6.2 takes place on April 4, 2026, at CITYCENTRE, 800 Town & Country Blvd, Houston, TX. The event marks the 18th anniversary of green6.2 and is the third race of the Houston Holiday Series. It is presented in conjunction with Earth Week and includes both in-person and virtual options.

The course layout for the 10K is two loops and the 5K is one loop. A Kids/Family 1K is included as a walk option.

Logistics and awards

Packet pick-up is scheduled on April 2, 2026, at Sun & Ski Sports, 6100 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX. Race day packet pick-up is available for a $15 fee. Parking is free in the G1 and G2 parking garages on the upper levels; event parking signs will be posted.

Awards include Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Masters Overall Male and Female, and 1st place age group winners in 10-year divisions. Age group awards must be claimed on race day; unclaimed awards can be shipped at participant expense for $9.95. Age group award details are subject to change.
