Salute to Our Heroes 5K & 10K
The Salute to Our Heroes event takes place at the Pompano Air Park in Pompano Beach, Florida. The course follows an out and back format suitable for both runners and walkers. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
Participants start and end the race near the Pompano Air Park, with parking available at the south end of the Galuppi's parking lot located at 1103 N Federal Hwy.
Every registered participant receives an event club T-shirt, a signature race bib, and a finisher medal upon completion. A clock is positioned at the finish line to display elapsed times for all participants. The registration fee is consistent for both the 3.1-mile and 6.2-mile options.
