Race Information
US Road Running organizes this event in Concord, North Carolina, featuring multiple distances for participants. The race is staged from the Dogwood Shelter located at 760 Orphanage Road. The event is open to the public, though all participants must register through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the race.
The course follows an out-and-back format on a path that is primarily paved but includes a section of gravel and dirt. Runners will navigate through a shaded environment. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Available facilities include bathrooms located in the corner of the parking lot near the entrance.
Distances
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of a modified 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
Participants receive a finisher medal after completing their respective distances. In addition to the running competition, the event includes a costume contest, and runners can earn points toward a larger series.
