OMR Ultra 24 Hour Challenge : Oct 31, 2025, Mint Hill, NC
The OMR Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is a 24-hour running event at Mint Hill Park on Wilgrove in Mint Hill, NC (7750 Jim Harper Ln, Mint Hill, NC 28227). The event offers solo entries and relay teams of 2 to 6 runners. Registration closes on Oct 28.
Course, logistics and awards
The event uses a loop course approximately 1.5-mile in length with a mix of crushed gravel, wooded singletrack, and grass. The loop does not fully close on itself; laps are counted only between the official start and finish timing lines, so GPS readings may differ from official mileage. The start area is at the trailhead near the northwest corner of the park parking lot and the finish timing line is located near the south side of the parking lot. The parking lot serves as the central hub for crew setups, personal tents, and team areas; participants may access supplies from vehicles between laps.
One main aid station will be adjacent to the parking lot and will offer water, electrolyte drink, warm broth, energy gels, and rotating hot food items. All participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt. Distance-based awards include a belt buckle for 100+ mile finishers and a special medal for 100K finishers. For relay teams, the event provides team management options after registration and the race director can assist with membership changes.
