Pirate 5K, 10K and Half Marathon at Freedom Park, Williamsburg VA
This event takes place in Williamsburg with the event area based at Lois Hornsby Middle School, 850 Jolly Pond Rd, Williamsburg VA 23188. It includes three distance options and is organized by US Road Running.
Course formats and distances are described as follows:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K use an out and back route of about 3.11 miles. The 5K completes that out and back once, while the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses an out and back segment of about 3.28 miles that is repeated four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Logistics note that the start location has changed and participants are asked to park at Lois Hornsby Middle School. All entrants must register on RunSignup; on site registration is not available. Packet pickup is available before the race and closes shortly before the start.
