Event Overview
The Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place on April 18, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event start and parking is at Lois Hornsby Middle School. Participants can choose from three distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.
Registration
All participants must register online in advance via the RunSignup platform. On-site registration is not available. Packet pick-up begins 30 minutes before the event starts.
Course Information
All courses are out-and-back routes on paved paths in Freedom Park.
- The 5K course is 3.11 miles long. Participants complete the route one time.
- The 10K course uses the same 3.11-mile out-and-back route, completed two times.
- The Half Marathon course is a 3.28-mile out-and-back route, completed four times. A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place for all events.
Additional Details
Finisher medals are awarded. The event includes a best costume contest and an awards ceremony. Participants can purchase event gear and shirts. The event is part of a series where runners can earn points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
