17th Annual Run The D.O.G. St. 5K
The event takes place in Williamsburg, Virginia on April 18, 2026. It features multiple race options and a course that runs through Williamsburg and Colonial Williamsburg, finishing on Duke of Gloucester Street. The route passes the Governor's Palace and the Colonial Capitol building and includes a final 800 meters on Duke of Gloucester Street.

- 5K Virtual Run and Walk
The race is listed as a USATF certified 5K and the Palace Green Course certification is pending. It is part of the Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix and the Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix. Early packet pickup and final registration are held the day before at Colonial Sports on Jamestown Road. Race day packet pickup is available at the start line.
Age groups begin at 8 and under then continue 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 13 to 15, 16 to 19 and then five year increments up to 80 and over. Awards include cash prizes for top overall finishers and masters, medals for age group placings, walker awards, team awards, and finisher medals. A tech tee race shirt is given to 5K participants registered by April 8, 2026.
