Event Overview
The Haunted 5K, 10K, 13.1M & 26.2M is a multi-distance running event held at E J Nutter Park in Beavercreek, Ohio. Organized by US Road Running, the event takes place on an out-and-back course with a total time limit of 6 hours for all participants.
All runners must register in advance through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location, starting 30 minutes before the official start and concluding 10 minutes prior to departure.
Distances and Course Layout
Participants can choose from several distance options, each utilizing a specific out-and-back loop:
- 5K: This distance follows a 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed one time.
- 10K: Runners complete the 3.11-mile out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon: This distance uses a 3.28-mile out-and-back course completed four times.
- Marathon: The marathon utilizes the 3.28-mile out-and-back course completed eight times.
Participation and Awards
The event features a costume contest, and runners are encouraged to arrive in costume. All walkers and runners who complete their respective courses receive a finisher medal.
