The Run For Your Life 5K - Fairborn

The Run For Your Life event in Fairborn is an interactive running series presented by Run Ohio Races LLC. It takes place at 691 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324 on 10/03/2026 and combines timed races with a themed Zombie Experience.

Participants can register as Survivors or Zombies. Survivors run the course wearing a flag football belt; infected zones are marked on the course and zombies attempt to capture flags. If a Survivor reaches the finish with all flags intact they are recorded as surviving; losing one or more flags indicates infection. Zombies remain in designated infected zones and work to capture flags. Limited zombie slots are available and a T-shirt is included for zombie participants.

All runners receive a finisher medal whether they finish with flags or after infection. The event notes clearly marked infected zones and restrictions on zombie movement to keep the course organized. Registration fees listed in the event information are $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K; the Zombie Experience has no registration fee.
