Event Information
The Haunted running event in Athens, Georgia offers four race distances: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. All races share the same start line and occur on the same day.
Course Details
The event takes place on the North Oconee River Greenway in Athens, Georgia.
For the 5K and 10K, the course is a 3.11-mile out-and-back route. The 5K completes this route one time. The 10K completes the same route two times.
For the Half Marathon and Marathon, the course is a 3.28-mile out-and-back route. The Half Marathon completes this route four times. The Marathon completes the same route eight times.
A time limit of 6 hours applies to the course.
Registration & Logistics
All participants must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race starts.
Awards & Perks
All finishers receive a themed medal. Costumes are encouraged but not required. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, and participation earns points toward that series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
