Event overview
The Ninja 5K, 10K, & 13.1M in Athens, GA is scheduled for August 8, 2026. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All finishers will receive a themed finisher medal. The race earns series points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Awards follow the series procedures. Wearing a costume is optional and encouraged. The published course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course and logistics
The event location is North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead at North Oconee Access Rd., Athens, GA 30605. Registration must be completed on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. A parking lot is available near the starting point.

- The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course of 3.11 miles; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K twice.
- The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back course of 3.28 miles and completes that out-and-back four times.
