Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K and Virtual 5K
The in person Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, Georgia. The course winds through the adjacent Northwest Woods neighborhood. A virtual 5K option is offered the same week; virtual participants run on their own before the event date and submit a finish time on the results page. Virtual runners do not receive shirts or awards.
Distances included:
- 3.1 miles - Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K (in person)
- 3.1 miles - Oconee Therapeutic Riding Virtual 5K
- 1 mile - Lap of Love for children with special needs
Registration fees listed for the event are $25.00 for each 5K option and $10.00 for the Lap of Love. The Lap of Love is held just prior to the awards and is intended for children with special needs served by Oconee Therapeutic Riding; all children are invited to run or walk.
