Event
The Pirate 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (13.1M) and Marathon (26.2M) take place in Athens, GA on April 11, 2026. The venue is the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead at North Oconee Access Road, Athens, GA 30605. Distances offered:

- Marathon Event entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, $65 for the Half Marathon, and $95 for the Marathon.
Courses and rules
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course measured as 3.11 miles; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The Half Marathon and Marathon use a separate out-and-back course measured as 3.28 miles; the Half Marathon repeats it four times and the Marathon repeats it eight times. The race has a 6-hour course time limit. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. All runners must register on RunSignup; on-site registration is not available. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. Wearing a costume is optional and encouraged. The event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series and uses the US Road Running awards structure. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
