Medal Madness in Athens, GA takes place on March 14, 2026 at the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead (North Oconee Access Rd., Athens 30605). The event offers the following distances:
- 5K - out-and-back once on a 3.11M course
- 10K - out-and-back twice on the same 3.11M course
- Half Marathon - out-and-back repeated four times on a 3.28M course
- Marathon - out-and-back repeated eight times on a 3.28M course
Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, $65 for the half marathon, and $95 for the marathon. Registration must be completed on RunSignup; no on-site registration is available. Registration closes March 14, 2026.
Course and logistics
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The event has a 6-hour course time limit. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal.
