Event overview
The New Year event in Athens, GA offers three race distances:

The event is held at the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead at North Oconee Access Rd., Athens, GA 30605 US. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course with an approximate full loop of 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back of approximately 3.28 miles repeated four times.
