URC Cookie Exchange & Food Drive 5K
The Upstate Running Club hosts a social 5K at Double Stamp Brewery in Holland Park, Greenville, SC (813 Laurens Rd). The run is a chip timed 5K that starts and finishes at the brewery and follows the club's Wednesday route through Holland Park. Live results post as participants cross the line.
Entry is free with the donation of ten boxed or canned nonperishable food items; all collected items go to a local holiday food pantry. Participants who bring a dozen cookies may exchange them inside the brewery and leave with a dozen different cookies. The first beer is provided for attendees age 21 and over with ID.
Check-in and food drop-off happen on site before the run. Race-day registration is available on a phone until the start. Parking is available in the Holland Park lots near Double Stamp Brewery; attendees are advised to allow extra time for parking on a busy weeknight.
Prizes include top three overall men and women by gun time and a club vote for the best cookies at the exchange. This event is a club social and does not count toward Upstate Race Series standings. Entries are final; transfers and profile updates are handled through the participant registration profile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
