About the race
The Green Wave Jingle Jam is held at Easley High School in Easley, SC on December 5, 2026. The event features an evening 5K and a new Kid's Reindeer 1 Mile, both held on campus. The 5K course is lit along the campus, is mostly flat with minimal hills, and finishes with a downhill run to the track.
The event includes a costume contest held before the Kid's Mile, music along the course, hot chocolate available after the races, and awards presented directly after the event. All finishers receive medals. Awards for the 5K include overall female and male places 1–3, masters female and male (40+) places 1–3, and age-group awards (1st–3rd) across standard age brackets from 0–14 up to 75+.
Entry fees are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kid's Reindeer 1 Mile. Entries received before November 22, 2026 are guaranteed a t-shirt. The event is open to the entire community, all ages are welcome, and proceeds support the Easley High School Track & Field program. The race is not a sanctioned high school meet; teams may still participate. Registration includes a t-shirt and additional items from event vendors.
