About the race
The Green Wave Jingle Jam takes place at Easley High School in Easley, South Carolina on December 5, 2026. The event includes an evening 5K course that is lit along the campus, described as mostly flat with minimal hills and an entire downhill finish onto the track.
Two event distances are offered:
- 5K
- 1 Mile (Kid's Reindeer)
The Kid's Reindeer 1 Mile is new for this year and is preceded by a costume contest with awards for first, second, and third place. Music will play along the course and hot chocolate will be provided after the race. All finishers receive medals. Awards for the 5K include overall female and male top three, masters female and male (40+) top three, and age group awards for 1st through 3rd in the listed age brackets from 0–14 up to 75 and older.
Registration fees are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Kid's Reindeer Run. Entries received by November 22, 2026 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Online registration is available up to shortly before the race. Race packet early pick-up is scheduled for the Friday before the event at the Easley High School main office. Race day registration is available during the evening on event day.
