Event overview
The Upper Beaconsfield Tower Run/Walk is a community running event held as part of the Upper Beaconsfield Village Festival on 15 February 2026 in Beaconsfield Upper / Upper Beaconsfield. The event began in 1997 and is organised by volunteers. Net proceeds support local community groups, including the Upper Beaconsfield Men’s Shed, Upper Beaconsfield Village Festival, Upper Beaconsfield CFA, and Split Rock Rovers. A $2 donation option at registration supports the charity Kids in Sport Inc.
The course is a loop from the township at Charing Cross to the Water Tower and back, following quiet, mainly unsealed roads through rolling hills. The single loop measures about 6.5 km; multiple-loop options extend the distance.
Race format and entries
Three race distance options are offered, all electronically timed. Participants wear a bib for timing and all finishers receive a medallion. First, second and third place in each category receive a plaque or medal provided by the Upper Beaconsfield Men’s Shed. Race results are recorded as start and finish lines are crossed and are available online in real time.
