Up, Up and Away 5K
The Up, Up and Away 5K is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at Kent State University at Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue Northwest, North Canton, OH 44720. The event is presented by OrthoUnited. Hot air balloons may be present during the event, weather permitting.

Registration details differ by event: registration for the 5K opens December 22, 2025 and closes June 30, 2026 with a listed fee of $32.00. The kids fun run has free registration and remains open through July 25, 2026. Packet pickup is available on the day before the event and on race day at the venue.
Awards and keepsakes for the 5K include finisher medals and top three male and female overall. Awards are also given to the top three male and female in each age category: 12 & under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85 & over. The finisher medal and race keepsake are tied to early registration.
Shirt policy notes that short sleeve athletic shirts are included with 5K registration in sizes X-Small to 3X-Large and are available in youth sizes for the kids run. Registration does not guarantee a shirt after July 8 and sizes are limited. A $5 discount is offered for a no-shirt option. For the kids fun run, a waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.
