Up, Up, and Away 5k
The Up, Up, and Away 5k takes place Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Kent State University at Stark in North Canton, Ohio. The event is presented by OrthoUnited and is held on the university campus where hot air balloons may be visible in the sky, weather permitting.
Two events are offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Free Kids Fun Run for ages 8 and under, untimed
Packet pickup and registration are available the day before the race and on race morning. The kids fun run is held on the track near the finish area and requires a parent or guardian to sign a waiver for participating children. Short sleeve athletic shirts are included with registration while supplies last; registration does not guarantee a shirt after July 8. A no shirt option is available for a reduced fee.
The 5K includes finisher medals and awards. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female in each age category: 12 & under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85 & over.
