[Un]leash the Fun 5K Run and 2K Walk
The event takes place on June 5, 2027 at Duncansville Memorial Park, 822 Eighth Ave., Duncansville, PA 16635. It includes a community 5K run and a 2K walk that continue through the borough.
- 5K Run running only; dogs are not permitted.
- 2K Walk walking only; dogs are permitted with responsible handlers.
Registration opens 11/19/2026 and closes 6/4/2027. Registration fees listed for the events are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 2K. Participants who register receive an event t-shirt, a swag bag, a bib with a timing chip, refreshments, and a professional event photo. All participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers in both the 5K run and the 2K walk.
Organizers note that the 5K route runs close to the main road and that dogs are therefore not allowed on the run. Walk participants who bring dogs are asked to be responsible for their animals. Parking is requested at the baseball field behind Sunbrook Manor; signs and staff will be present to assist. Proceeds from the event benefit Beau's Dog Park.
