[Un]Leash the Fun 5k Run and 2k Walk
This community event is the second annual [Un]Leash the Fun series and is scheduled for June 5, 2027 in Duncansville Memorial Park, Duncansville, PA. The organizer lists two participation options and fees: the 5K run with a registration fee of $35 and the 2K walk with a registration fee of $30. Registration opens on November 19, 2026 and closes on June 4, 2027.
The run route passes close to the main road. Organizers request that no dogs participate in the 5K run. Walk participants may bring a dog but are asked to be responsible for their animal’s welfare and to avoid causing stress to other attendees and pets.
Parking is directed to the baseball field behind Sunbrook Manor; signs and on-site staff will assist with parking. All participants receive an event t-shirt, a swag bag, a bib with a timing chip, refreshments, and professional race photos. Every participant will receive a finisher medal. Additional awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers in both the 5K run and the 2K walk.
Proceeds from the event benefit Beau's Dog Park. The event honors a dog named Mack and notes his history of kidney disease as part of the event's purpose. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
