Dirty Kiln Trail Races at Canoe Creek
The Dirty Kiln Trail Races at Canoe Creek take place on April 11, 2026, at Canoe Creek State Park in Hollidaysburg, PA, with the event base at 205 Canoe Creek Road. The event offers two trail race options and is organized by Allegheny Trailrunners, a 501c3 not-for-profit with volunteer officers.
Runners choose between the following distances:
- Short Course (about 10K)
- Long Course (half marathon)
The short course climbs Moore's Hill and loops around the lake. The long course covers the park twice, adding more hills for the half marathon distance. Both courses include a mix of wide paths, winding singletrack, stream crossings, and muddy sections.
Allegheny Trailrunners contributes net proceeds from events to predetermined charities and other non-profit organizations at year end. Officers are unpaid volunteers.
Entry rules and policies stated by the organizer include eligibility for a 50% refund of the race fee minus RunSignup fees until March 11, 2026. The organizer does not allow deferrals or bib transfers, and there are no same-day signups. The races accept participants ages 8 to 100.
