Twilight Race : Lakemont Park, Altoona, PA
The Twilight Race is an annual event held at Lakemont Park during the Lights on the Lake display. The edition described takes place on Thursday, December 31, 2026, and offers running and walking courses routed through the park's holiday light and animation displays.

- 2 mile walk
All courses follow a loop through Lights on the Lake. The 5K run consists of three laps, while the 2 mile run and 2 mile walk each consist of two laps. The event notes that these are not exact measured distances. Participants are responsible for tracking their own laps; organizers will monitor bib colors to discourage course changes.
Event logistics and rules include requirement to wear race numbers, a $5 fee for replacement bibs, and prohibitions on pets and headsets. Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 700 registrants; a hooded sweatshirt is noted for participants registered in the All-7 program. Packet pick-up is available at the Blair Regional YMCA before the event and at both the YMCA and Lakemont Park on race day. Parking options include the lot left of Lakemont Park and a parking garage accessed through Galactic Ice.
Awards are presented after the event. Medals are given to top overall finishers and to top three by age group for male and female competitors; winners must be present to receive awards. Registration fees are nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
