Unity Race 5K Run/Walk
The Unity Race is a community 5K run/walk organized by Crotona Park Running Club, Inc., a Bronx running club and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The event pairs members of the NYPD with community participants on a predefined course in Crotona Park. The distance for the event is approximately 5K (3.1 miles). The event is offered free of charge with an optional donation; a suggested donation of $15 is noted and other amounts are accepted.

Awards are given to the Top 3 male and female overall finishers and to the top male and female in each age group: 9 & under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
Bibs are available from event staff starting one hour before the event. Participants who register three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib. A bib number is required for pickup; Self Lookup or Bib Lookup options are available. Registrants who join within 24 hours of the event will receive their bib number by text.
Results are provided live online, by email, and by text, with free video and same-day finish line photos. Proceeds support community development and programs that aim to improve relationships between the NYPD and the community, including Life Skills Learning Centers and vocational book distribution.
