Unity Race 5K Run/Walk
Unity Race 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 19, 2026, at Crotona Park in the Bronx, New York. The event is free to enter with an optional donation; a suggested donation of $15 is listed, and suggested amounts include $5, $10, $25 or another amount of the participant's choice.
The event is hosted by Crotona Park Running Club, Inc., a Bronx running club and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Members of the NYPD and community participants will run a predefined 5K course inside Crotona Park. The event includes a community wellness fair and the distribution of tested informational literature and giveaways intended to support positive relations between the NYPD and the local community.
Registration and participant services include options to register for the 5K Run/Walk or to make a donation only. Personalized bibs are available when registered by August 29, and last-minute registrants may receive bib numbers by text. T-shirt size options are offered but sizes are not guaranteed. Teams may be formed or joined on an optional basis. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
