Ultra X Scotland (2–3 May 2026)
Ultra X Scotland is a two day trail running event in the Scottish Highlands, based around Inverness and the Loch Ness area. It offers several race distances and uses marked routes with support stations.
Key event details include a reported difficulty of 3/6, technicality 2/5, and typical temperatures of 6-18°C. Aid stations are fully stocked and located at approximately every 10 km along the courses.

- 110 km (single-stage and multi-stage options)
- 60 km
- 50 km
- 25 km
- 12 km
Start locations vary by distance. Both the single and multi-stage 110 km events and the 60 km start at Queens Park Stadium, Inverness. The 50 km starts in Fort Augustus. The 25 km starts in Foyers. The 12 km starts in Whitefield.
Camping is included for 110 km and multi-stage entrants. Entrants in the 60 km and 50 km can purchase a camp pass. A full race pack with detailed information, timings, and cut-offs is emailed to registered participants about one month before the event.
The event is part of the Great British Slam award structure, which recognizes runners who enter and finish the three specified GB Ultra X ultra races within a calendar year.
