Ultra X Scotland
Ultra X Scotland is a multi-day trail running event in the Scottish Highlands held on 2 and 3 May 2026 with a base in Inverness. The event offers multiple race distances across two days and takes place on marked trails around Loch Ness and surrounding areas.
Distances available:
- 110 km single stage
- 110 km two stage
- 60 km
- 50 km
- 25 km
- 12 km
Start locations vary by distance. The 110 km events and the 60 km start from Queens Park Stadium in Inverness. The 50 km starts in Fort Augustus, the 25 km in Foyers and the 12 km in Whitefield. Under 23s may participate for free across all distances.
The event provides fully marked courses, medical and ground support, and checkpoints with water and snacks approximately every 10 km. A Race Pack with detailed information, timings and cut-offs is emailed to registered participants about one month before the event. GPS route files are available for several distances. Camping on Saturday night is included for the 110 km two-stage entry; 60 km and 50 km entrants can purchase a camp pass. Some categories include showers and access to camp facilities on Saturday night. A finisher’s medal is issued to finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
