Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running
The Loch Ness Marathon is a distance running event located in the Scottish Highlands. The course takes participants alongside the shores of Loch Ness. In addition to the main marathon distance, the event includes several other running options:

The entry fee for the marathon and the 10K distances includes electronic timing, a commemorative finisher’s medal, a technical t-shirt, and a goody bag. Participants also receive a downloadable finisher’s certificate and complimentary post-race food.
Logistics for the marathon are supported by organized transport that takes runners to the start line. The event concludes with a festival at the finish line in Inverness. A sports expo is held over the event weekend, offering merchandise such as hoodies, hats, and buffs.
The event partners with various charities, allowing participants to use their run for fundraising purposes.
