The Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running is scheduled for Sunday 28 September 2025 in Inverness, Scotland. The main marathon route runs alongside the shores of Loch Ness. Entries for the Marathon, River Ness 10K and River Ness 5K were reported as sold out for 2025. Marathon and River Ness 10K entries include electronic timing. The entry fee includes a commemorative finisher’s medal, a technical finisher’s t-shirt, a goody bag, a downloadable finisher’s certificate, complimentary post-race food, transport to the marathon start, and access to the finish festival.
