By Way of the Glen

By Way of the Glen is a challenging 170-mile foot race from Glasgow to Inverness, scheduled for July 4-6, 2025. Participants will traverse two of Scotland's iconic long-distance routes: the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way. Runners have 28 hours to complete the first 94 miles of the West Highland Way before continuing on the Great Glen Way.

The event features marked routes, checkpoints for support teams, and a vetting process for runner qualifications, requiring prior completion of races over 70 miles.
