Ultra Trail Whistler by UTMB
Ultra Trail Whistler by UTMB is a multi-distance trail running event set in Whistler, British Columbia, with race activity centred around Creekside Plaza and the Whistler Blackcomb resort, which hosted events during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The event spans two days of racing and offers four distinct course options.
Courses tour a range of terrain from evergreen forest to alpine lakes and high-mountain vistas. Runners encounter views of Black Tusk, alpine meadows, technical climbs, and sections across the Coast Mountain Range. The resort village concentrates lodging, dining, logistics, and crew support close to race operations.
The event acknowledges that it takes place on the shared, unceded territory of the Lil’wat People (L̓il̓wat7úl) and the Squamish People (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh). The race logo uses artwork created by a member of the Squamish Nation; the original piece is displayed at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.
