The Pemby Pounder Trail Run
The Pemby Pounder Trail Run is a trail running event located in Pemberton, British Columbia. The event offers three race distances.
- 42 km "The Full Pounder" – A trail marathon with 1861 m of cumulative ascent.
- 22 km "The Half Pounder" – A course with 963 m of cumulative ascent.
- 9 km "The Quarter Pounder" – A course with 261 m of cumulative ascent.
The courses run through Pemberton's Mackenzie trail network and feature varied landscapes, including old-growth forests and alpine vistas overlooking the valley. Registration includes unique custom run socks, a finisher's medal, and post-race food and drinks. Five dollars from every entry fee goes to the Pemberton Valley Trails Association.
The event also fundraises for the Lil'wat Nation Recreation Department. Youth pricing is available for runners under 18 for the 9 km and 22 km distances.
