The Pemby Pounder Trail Run

The Pemby Pounder is a trail running event at Den Duyf Park in Pemberton, British Columbia. Races take place on the Mackenzie trail network at the base of Mount Currie and cross old growth forest and alpine terrain with views of the valley.

Courses feature steep climbs, technical descents and a high proportion of singletrack. All distances start and finish at Den Duyf Park, which serves as a gathering area for runners and spectators after the races.

Three official distances are offered on the event day, with greater elevation gain on the longer courses.

  • 9K 90%+ singletrack, 261 m ascent and descent
  • 22K 90%+ singletrack, 963 m ascent and descent
  • 42K 90%+ singletrack, 1861 m ascent and 1862 m descent

The day also includes the Walk for Wellness, a 9K charitable walk in partnership with the Pemberton Health Foundation. The event is organized by Endurance Specific Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
