Event details
The Whistler Half Marathon is a trail running event on the weekend of June 5–7, 2026, with the main race day on June 6, 2026. The event is held in Whistler, British Columbia, at Whistler Olympic Plaza and on trails in Lost Lake Park in the Coast Mountains. The event takes place on the unceded and shared territory of the Squamish Nation (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation) and Lil’wat Nation. The event is presented by Salomon and The Beem Credit Union and is organised by Coast Mountain Trail Running. The race acknowledges financial support from the Resort Municipality of Whistler. The event supports Crohn’s and Colitis Canada and a Trail Mix Fund, with fundraising goals listed for each.

Logistics and registration
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Online registration closes at midnight on June 2, 2026. A merchandise store is available between January 1 and June 3. Prices shown include the Race Roster processing fee; 5% GST applies to registrations and 5% GST plus 7% PST applies to merchandise. All payments are in Canadian dollars; VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.
The weekend schedule includes race package pick-up and a runners expo, a guided course preview, a Squamish and Lil’wat Nations welcome ceremony, awards ceremonies for the distances, a Whistler Kids Run, and a recovery activity the day after. The event has a cancellation and transfer policy and a code of ethics that excludes athletes previously banned for cheating. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
