Event overview
Ultra In The Black Country takes place on Sunday 29 March 2026 at Baggeridge Country Park near Dudley, West Midlands. The event is organised by Pulse Events and is open to solo entrants, pairs, or teams of four. There is a £3 parking charge and the event has a total of 100 places. The minimum age for runners is 18 years on race day. Finishers receive a medal and a bottle of Teme Valley Brewery beer.
Route and entry details
The route is a 32-mile loop broken into four sections, with three check points that double as relay change-over points. The course is 97% traffic free and mainly follows disused railway lines and canal towpaths. The route is waymarked and participants receive a GPX file for GPS devices. Each check point provides water, energy drink and assorted food.

- 2.7 km Netherton Tunnel mandatory head-torch section
- 329 m Coseley Tunnel along the canal network
