Ultra in The Black Country

Ultra In The Black Country is a 32-mile ultra running event held at Baggeridge Country Park near Dudley, West Midlands. The scenic urban loop features mostly traffic-free paths, including disused railway lines, canal towpaths, tunnels, and woodland areas, showcasing the historic Black Country. The course is divided into four sections, suitable for solo runners, pairs, or teams of four, with three checkpoints offering refreshments and relay changeovers.

Notable highlights include the 2.7km Netherton Tunnel and the 329m Coseley Tunnel. The route is fully waymarked, with GPS files provided. Participants receive a finisher’s medal and a local brewery beer upon completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
