Ultra In The Black Country 2026 is an ultra-distance running event held on 29 March 2026 with the start and finish at Baggeridge Country Park near Dudley, West Midlands. The course is a 32 miles loop broken into four sections and may be completed as a solo runner, a pair, or a team of four. Route and facilities

The route is described as 97% traffic free, mainly on well surfaced disused railway lines and canal towpaths, with a few road crossings. Key route features include woodland sections, Fen’s Pool, and canal tunnels: the Netherton Tunnel at 2.7 km (mandatory head-torch section) and the Coseley Tunnel at 329 m. There are three check points that also act as relay change-over points; each check point will offer water, energy drink and assorted food. The course will be fully waymarked and a GPX file will be provided. The finish includes a finisher’s medal and a bottle of Teme Valley Brewery beer.
