Timberhonger 10K 2026
The Timberhonger 10K takes place on 30 August 2026 and will be the 21st running of the event. The route is named because most of the course runs along Timberhonger Lane. The course is described as picturesque and includes a notable hill on Timberhonger Lane.
The measured 10 km route makes its way from the Bromsgrove end of Timberhonger Lane on Whitford Road, follows Timberhonger Lane for about 3 km, then completes two 2 km loops around Berry Lane and Newhouse Lane before returning up Timberhonger Lane to Sanders Park. The finish is across the park field near the front car park. All roads on the route will be closed to traffic for the duration of the race.
Practical details include water stations at approximately 5 km and at the finish. The event is chip timed; all finishers receive a medal and an official time. Results are published on the event website and Facebook within 48 hours. Entry places are limited to 500 and the entry fee is £27 until 29 August 2026. There are no refunds, defers or transfers.
Venue and onsite facilities: Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 7JP. Car parking is free with 82 general spaces, 6 disabled spaces, 2 electric charging points and a 2.1 m height barrier; additional parking is available in a nearby field off Whitford Road. Toilets and a café are available near the start and finish. No bag drop or changing facilities are provided. All participants must be at least 15 years old. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
