Timberhonger 10K is a 10-kilometre road race taking place on 30 August 2026. This will be the 21st running of the event. The venue is Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 7JP. The organiser is Orbit Events. Total places are limited to 500. The published entry price until 29 August 2026 is £27.00.
Course and logistics
The course is accurately measured and runs largely on Timberhonger Lane. The route goes down Timberhonger Lane for approximately 3 km, then completes two 2 km loops around Berry Lane and Newhouse Lane, before returning up Timberhonger Lane to Sanders Park. The finish is across the field of Sanders Park near the front car park. All roads on the route will be closed to traffic.
Car parking at Sanders Park is free. The park has 82 general spaces, 6 disabled spaces, 2 electric charging points and a 2.1 m height barrier. Additional parking is available in a large field off Whitford Road. There is a cafe on site and a range of single, accessible toilets and urinals near the start and finish.
Race services and rules
The event is chip timed; all finishers will receive a medal and an official time. Results are published on the event website and Facebook within 48 hours. Water is available at about 5 km and at the finish; participants are encouraged to bring personal hydration to reduce waste. All participants must be at least 15 years old. No dogs, no refunds, defers or transfers, and no bag drop or changing facilities are provided. Volunteers may assist through the organiser.
